General Interest/Area of Focus
Stephanie Daniels is part of the curation staff at ITARP. Keeping the Charles
J. Bareis Library current with all professional journals and books, assisting
staff with library requests and collections management duties, including monitoring
physical conditions in all storage areas, maintaining databases and cataloging
all slides and maps are among her daily duties. Stephanie also does lithic
analysis. This analysis has been centered mostly on Mississippian sites. She
analyzed lithic material for the East St. Louis site and is currently working
on an Upper Mississippian site.
Memberships/Awards/Accomplishments
Stephanie presented a paper at the Midwest Archaeological Conference on the
results of the lithic analysis of the East St. Louis Site.
