ITARP conducts archaeological surveys and excavations throughout the state of Illinois for the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT). In addition to the central ITARP office located at the University in Champaign (Central Illinois Survey Division), we have field offices and labs in Belleville and Wood River in the East St. Louis area (American Bottom Survey Division), Jacksonville and Macomb (Western Illinois Survey Division), Springfield (Springfield Research Lab), and Rockford (Northern Illinois Survey Division).
